AE Bridge sends what you have selected in Figma, Illustrator, After Effects or Photoshop to any of the others and rebuilds it with native layers: vectors, editable text, gradients, styles and images. No exporting, no redrawing. Premiere Pro gets it too, as pictures.
Figma · Illustrator · After Effects · Photoshop · Premiere Pro · Windows 10/11 · 7 languages
From the first selection to the finished layers, without exporting a single file.
Vectors, editable text, gradients, strokes and images arrive as real layers you can keep working on in the other program.
Between Figma, Illustrator, After Effects and Photoshop, in any direction: send your selection, or bring the selection from another program with one button.
Send a design from Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop or After Effects and it lands in a new sequence as pictures: one video track per layer, each in its place, with its opacity and blend mode. In this version text arrives as a fixed picture, not editable text. Premiere Pro can also send its clips to After Effects.
When you send again, AE Bridge replaces the layers you sent before instead of piling up copies, and keeps the animation, effects and timing you added in After Effects.
Turn on “Rasterize” to send the selection as an exact image, for those looks that cannot travel as layers.
Send several frames to After Effects as separate comps, as a sequence, as layers, or all together on one big canvas.
Masks and clipping arrive as native After Effects masks and mattes. Shadows and blurs from Figma, and styles and adjustment layers from Photoshop, become layer styles and effects.
Choose the image scale from 1x to 4x and, if you want, save the images in an “AE Bridge assets” folder next to your project.
Once installed it connects by itself when you open your programs, and the panel shows at a glance which ones are connected.
Three steps from your license to your first transfer.
Download Synthetic Setup from your dashboard and run it: it finds your Adobe programs, installs the panel in each one and loads your license. Restart them and open it from Window → Extensions → Synthetic AE Bridge.
In the panel, press “Install in Figma”. Then, in Figma, go to Plugins → Development → Import plugin from manifest… and pick the file it shows you. You only do this once.
Pick the program you want to talk to, select your artwork and use the buttons to send it there or bring its selection here.
AE Bridge is a panel for Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro, plus a plugin for the Figma desktop app. It works between the programs you have open: you do not need all five.
No. Your artwork travels between your programs on your own computer and is never uploaded to Synthetic. Only the license is verified online.
No. AE Bridge works between whichever ones you have open. Figma is optional.
It is the way Adobe runs extensions inside its programs. AE Bridge keeps one small background component per Adobe program so they can talk to each other: it shows up under that name, belongs to the program that started it and closes with it.
AE Bridge is a one-time purchase: no subscription and no expiry. One key works on 2 computers.
Your license is verified online; your designs never leave your computer.
