Frequently asked questions
If it's free, why do I need a license key?
The key is free too. When you get AutoEdit Pro, your key appears in Dashboard → Licenses; click the gear icon (⚙) in the panel and paste it there. Without a key, the buttons stay locked.
Does it work offline?
Yes, for up to 7 days. The panel checks your key every 6 hours while it's open; without internet it keeps working for up to 7 days after the last successful check. The editing itself happens on your machine.
Can it cut silences or add captions?
Not AutoEdit Pro. Silence cutting, automatic captions, vertical versions and beat-synced montages are part of Synthetic Premiere MCP, which you drive from your AI assistant.
Which Premiere Pro versions are supported?
Premiere Pro CC 2020 through 2026 on Windows 10/11 and macOS 11+ (macOS: beta).
