Install the CEP bridge
Illustrator MCP needs a small bridge panel inside Illustrator. The Synthetic installer sets it up for you, or you can download the signed panel (.zxp) from your dashboard. Follow the install docs for the exact steps.
Wire up your MCP client
Add the server to claude_desktop_config.json with your IL_MCP_LICENSE (Cursor, Windsurf and any MCP client also work).
