Build scenes, model, set up materials and node graphs, light, animate and render — all by describing what you want from Claude or any MCP client.
102 tools · Blender 5.1 and 5.2 LTS · Windows · Works with Claude Desktop & any MCP client
102 tools covering the Blender workflow — from the first object to the final render.
Create, select, move, parent, duplicate and organize objects and collections, and read the whole scene in one call.
Extrude, inset, bevel and subdivide meshes, clean them up, add and apply modifiers, and unwrap UVs.
Create and assign materials, and build node graphs for materials, geometry nodes, the compositor and the world.
Lights, world lighting, cameras aimed at a target, and one-call lighting presets such as three-point, golden hour or studio.
Keyframes and frame ranges, drivers and constraints, armatures with automatic weights, physics and turntables.
Render images and animations, viewport captures, render passes, texture baking and compositor looks — and see the image in your AI client.
Seeded generators for terrain, rocks, trees, buildings, roads and more, plus free CC0 materials and models from ambientCG.
Discovery of Blender's own API, measurements and checks so your AI can verify its work, and import/export in the common 3D formats.
Three steps from your license to your first prompt.
Download Synthetic Setup from your dashboard and run it: it adds the server to Claude Desktop, Cursor, Claude Code and Codex with your license already loaded.
Install the Synthetic Blender MCP add-on once from Blender's Preferences. From then on it starts with Blender by itself.
Edit → Preferences → Add-onsAsk your AI client something like "add a ground plane, three-point lighting and a camera aimed at the cube, then render it".
Verified on Windows with Blender 5.1.2 and 5.2.2 LTS. macOS is in beta: it has not been fully tested and may have errors. Linux has not been verified. Your scenes are not uploaded to Synthetic: the server runs on your computer and talks to Blender locally; your AI assistant only sees what the tools return to it.
Blender MCP costs nothing. At checkout you choose how much to pay — including nothing at all — and your license key arrives the same way either way.
