Midokoro

Telegram

Send clips and texts to your phone, review them with buttons and even start an analysis by sending a link. You connect your own bot.

Connect your bot

1

Create a bot

In Telegram, talk to @BotFather, send /newbot and follow the steps. Copy the token it gives you.
2

Say hello to your bot

Open your new bot in Telegram and send /start, so it knows your chat.
3

Paste the token

In Midokoro open Conexiones → Telegram, paste the token in Token del bot and press Buscar mi chat (Find my chat). Pick your chat in the list.
4

Test it

Press Probar (Test). Midokoro sends you a test message.
The token stays on your computer, protected with your Windows user. Midokoro never shows it again. Synthetic never sees it.

When to send

  • Solo cuando yo lo pida (Only when I ask): you send each clip yourself with Enviar por Telegram (Send by Telegram) in the clip's detail.
  • Automático: cada corte aprobado (Automatic: every approved clip).
  • Cada corte nuevo, para revisar con botones (Every new clip, to review with buttons): each one arrives with Aprobar and Descartar buttons, so you can review from your phone.

What to send

Switch on what you want to receive: videos, photos (thumbnails), titles and texts, subtitles (.srt) and audio (mp3). When you send a clip by hand you can choose the parts for that time. Telegram's standard bots accept files up to 50 MB.

Start an analysis from Telegram

Turn on Recibir links por Telegram (Receive links by Telegram). Send a link (YouTube, Twitch…) to your bot: Midokoro analyzes it and tells you when the clips are ready. It only listens to your chat.

Authorize users

In a private chat only you can control the bot. If you use the bot in a group, write the Telegram user IDs that are allowed in Quién puede manejar el bot (Who can control the bot), separated by commas, and press Guardar lista (Save the list). Everyone else is ignored. To know a user ID, that person can send a message to @userinfobot.
