Midokoro for Premiere
What ends up in your project
What Midokoro creates in Premiere, where to find it, and how to undo it.
One sequence per clip
Each moment (or each format, if you chose several) is built as a new sequence inside a folder in your project. The folder is called "Midokoro" unless you give it another name in Folder in the project. Each sequence already has the size of the chosen format and the crop done, and you open and edit it like any other.
Subtitles
Depending on what you chose, you'll find an editable caption track in each sequence, a layer with the styled subtitles, or both. The subtitle files (.srt) and the layers are also saved in the project folder.
Markers
With Mark the moments in the original turned on, your original clip gets a marker at every chosen moment. They are useful for coming back to them later.
See a moment before building it
In the list of moments, Show in Premiere opens the source in Premiere, marks the stretch with in and out points, and moves the playhead to its start.
Undo
Premiere doesn't undo everything a panel builds in one go. That's why, when the build finishes, the panel shows the Undo what was created button: it removes the sequences it just created (the panel tells you how many) and the subtitle files and layers it imported. Your original clips are not touched.
Temporary files
While it works, Midokoro saves pictures and intermediate files in a working folder on your computer. They are cleaned up automatically every time the engine starts.
