DaVinci Resolve MCP
DaVinci Resolve MCP
An MCP server with 450 tools that give your AI direct control over DaVinci Resolve — projects, the Media Pool, timeline edits, color, Fusion, audio and rendering — from Claude Desktop, Cursor or any MCP client.
How it works
You install it with Synthetic Setup, which adds the server to your MCP clients (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) with your license. The server talks to DaVinci Resolve through a small connector that runs inside Resolve, on your own computer: you load it with one line in Resolve's Console, once per Resolve session. Verified with the free edition of DaVinci Resolve 21 on Windows. macOS is in beta: it has not been fully tested and may have errors.
