Your first project

From a link or a file to clips you can approve, in a few minutes.

Midokoro's screens are in Spanish for now. Each name below appears as on screen, followed by its meaning.

1. Connect a language model (recommended)

Open Conexiones (Connections). A language model writes the title and the text for each network. You can use one on your computer, one from an online service with your own key, or any compatible API: use Probar conexión (Test connection) and then Usar esta (Use this one). Without one, Midokoro still works and writes the titles and texts with simple rules.

2. Analyze a video

Open Nuevo (New). Paste a link (YouTube, Twitch, Kick, RTMP/SRT or any page with video) or press Elegir video de mi PC… (Choose a video from my computer), then press Analizar (Analyze).

A livestream. Midokoro recognizes it and asks how long to record: 2, 5, 10 or 30 minutes, or until you stop it. Press Detener y analizar (Stop and analyze) at any time.
Only part of a long video. Tick Analizar solo un tramo (Analyze only a section) and write where it starts (for example 20:00) and how many minutes. It is the fastest way to try Midokoro.
Jobs run one at a time. Each one shows its state: En cola (Queued), Entendiendo el link (Reading the link), Grabando (Recording), Preparando (Preparing), Analizando (Analyzing) and Listo (Done).

In a calm video with no strong peaks, Midokoro still offers the 3 most intense points, marked as such. If it finds nothing, it says so.

3. Review the clips

When a job is done, press Abrir proyecto (Open project). Each clip is a card with a score from 0 to 100, a title and the reasons it was picked. Hover to preview it. Above the cards, a curve shows the pulse of the whole video with the moments marked.

Aprobar (Approve, key A) or Descartar (Discard, key D). Volver a revisar (Review again) brings a clip back.
Filters: Todos (All), Para revisar (To review), Aprobados (Approved) and Descartados (Discarded).
Keyboard: J / K or the arrows to move, Enter to open a clip, Esc to close, ? for help.

Open a clip to watch it with its subtitles, read why it was picked and edit the Título (Title), Texto (Text) and Hashtags of each network, with a character counter. Copiar (Copy) puts it all on the clipboard and Guardar (Save) keeps your changes. You can download the video or the subtitles as a .srt file.

Regenerar textos (Regenerate texts) writes every text again, and the ones you edited by hand are lost. Descargar aprobados (.zip) (Download approved) packs the approved clips.

Projects delete themselves after 7 days. The project card shows how many days are left.

4. Versions, editing and export

From a clip or from the project: Crear versiones (Create versions) makes the same clip for 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 and 16:9 (see Formats and speaker tracking). Editar (Edit) opens the built-in editor and Exportar (Export) makes the finished video or a folder for your editing program (see Editor and export). To send clips to your phone, connect Telegram.
